The Device Scout software is provided as a monthly subscription, at a price of 89¢ per managed device. Your subscription entitles you to free downloads of new versions as they are released. We also offer a 10% discount for customers that wish to pay annually and up-front.

Device Scout monitors the health and inventory of Macs in your company by extending the capabilities of the Casper Suite from JAMF Software. You’ll need the Casper Suite in order to install Device Scout. If you’re not currently using Casper, consider Robot Cloud, a hosted service that includes both Casper Suite and Device Scout.

Device Scout runs on a server you provide using open source technology. Experienced system administrators will find the installation straightforward: we include step-by-step instructions for both Mac OS X Server and Linux.
